Regarding new countries whose citizens are allowed to enter Russia
According to the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, restrictions on entry to Russia for foreign citizens from a number of countries are lifted. The corresponding changes were made by Order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 2084-r of 28.07.2021 and Order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 2156-r of 04.08.2021 to the order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 635-r of 16.03.2020 "On temporary restriction of entry into the Russian Federation of foreign citizens and stateless persons and temporary suspension of registration and issuance of visas and invitations".
Foreign citizens, as well as persons who do not have a residence permit or other document confirming the right to permanent residence in the following states have received the right to enter the Russian Federation without restrictions.
From July 28, 2021:
• Czech Republic.
From August 9, 2021:
• Dominican Republic;
The above-mentioned persons are allowed to enter Russia if the following entry conditions are met:
• Entry into the Russian Federation from the states specified in Annex No. 1 of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 635-r of 16.03.2020 and from the Republic of Belarus;
• Entry to the Russian Federation via airport checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation;
• Entry into the Russian Federation if these foreign citizens have a negative result of a PCR test for coronavirus infection performed no earlier than 72 hours before arrival on the territory of the Russian Federation.
These persons are no longer subject to restrictions on the registration and issuance of invitations to enter.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has resumed accepting documents for citizens of these countries for obtaining work permits.
