Regarding the project of working and vacation days in 2022

In 2022, 247 working days and 118 days off and holidays are expected. Non-working holidays in Russia are: • 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and January 8 - New Year's holidays; • January 7 - Christmas; • February 23 – Defender of the Fatherland Day; • March 8 – International Women's Day; • May 1 - Spring and Labor Day; • May 9 - Victory Day; • June 12 – Russia Day; • November 4 – National Unity Day (Article 112 of the Labor Code). In accordance with Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, if a weekend and a non-working holiday coincide, the day off is transferred to the next working day after the holiday. The draft Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation "On the postponement of weekends in 2022" established the following postponements in 2022: • the day off from Saturday, January 1 will be moved to Tuesday, May 3, • from Sunday, January 2 – to Tuesday, May 10, • from Saturday, March 5 – to Monday, March 7. Thus, in 2022, the following public holidays are tentatively planned: • New Year holidays - from December 31, 2021 to January 9, 2022; • International Women's Day - from 6 to 8 March 2022; • Russia Day - from June 11 to 13, 2022; • National Unity Day - from November 4 to 6. • At the same time, the Week preceding March 8 will be 6-day. • Four days are allocated for the May holidays in both periods: from April 30 to May 3 and from May 7 to May 10. • Defender of the Fatherland Day – just one day on February 23.
